At a newly developed gold site in West Africa, our engineers examined a hard rock gold deposit that shows promising grades even in its early exploration stage.
From field sampling, the customer recovered about 5 grams of gold from 500 kilograms of raw ore, collected only six meters below surface along the gold vein.
This indicates the ore body has good economic potential.

Ore Characteristics
The material is oxide‑type hard rock with visible granular gold, confirmed through small‑scale hand washing tests.
During site inspection, our engineer found no signs of harmful minerals such as arsenic or excessive sulfides. This supports the use of carbon‑in‑leach (CIL) technology for gold extraction.

Proposed Processing Approach
Before chemical leaching, gravity separation is recommended to recover coarse gold particles and reduce gold loss in tailings.
The combined process ensures high recovery while keeping reagent consumption lower.
Stage 1 – Gravity Recovery:
- Shaking table or centrifugal concentrator to capture free gold.
Stage 2 – Leaching (CIL System):
- Leaching tanks with activated carbon adsorption.
- Desorption and electrolysis for gold extraction.
- Smelting for final gold bars.

Container‑Type Gold Leaching Plant
The customer is particularly interested in a containerized gold leaching unit, which integrates all major stages—leaching, adsorption, and gold recovery—inside a compact container system.
After watching on‑site operation videos, he believes this design can greatly improve efficiency and reduce setup time.
The containerized plant is suitable for medium‑ and small‑scale projects where fast installation and mobility are important.
Dasen’s engineers are now discussing technical details and tailor‑fitting the machine configuration to the customer’s ore type.
Further updates on equipment testing and plant commissioning will be shared as the project advances.Dasen Mining Machinery has more than 30 years of experience in hard rock and oxide gold ore processing.
